
Valentine’s California Prune, Tahini and Miso Truffles Dipped in White Chocolate
California Prunes lend a deep, natural sweetness that’s perfect for indulgent treats. These Valentine’s truffles combine California Prunes with tahini, miso and sesame for a rich filling. The crispy filo adds texture, while the creamy white chocolate shell gives a luxurious finish. Packaged in a heart-shaped box, they’re a thoughtful and delicious homemade gift.
DIRECTIONS
- Cut the filo into fine strips and cook in a non-stick pan with the oil until golden and crisp. Cool for 10 minutes.
- Blend the California Prunes, tahini and 1 tbsp of sesame seeds until smooth.
- Add the cooled filo and pulse briefly.
- Shape into 16 truffle-sized balls and chill until firm.
- Melt the white chocolate gently.
- Place the truffles on a wire rack over a tray and pour over the chocolate to coat. Sprinkle with remaining sesame seeds.
- Leave to set, then box up as a gift.
